The idea sounds promising and at least the cockpit of the ship and the space skybox look nice so far. Considering the low amount of stuff on screen for now, there were surprisingly some issues with my frame rate. Or maybe not surprisingly, considering my specs, hard to say.

Hey thanks for trying it out! I think I've found the reason for the decreased frame rate and will be addressing that for the next build I make! I'd love to try and join your contest at some point as well!
